Gurugram is the second largest city in the state of Haryana. With lots of places to see, a lot of culture and history to explore, and a lot of food to taste, this satellite city is located 30 km south of New Delhi. Gurugram carries the same kind of crazy Dilli energy in its city.

Are you planning on shifting there anytime soon? Sounds like a good idea and we’re here to help you with some tips.

Gurugram has something for everyone. If you love peace and quiet, you could spend your time at the Leisure Valley Park, 25 acres of nothing but greenery and serenity. If you love outdoor events, the park is also a prime venue for music concerts. And when concerts aren’t happening, the musical fountain is something you cannot miss. Then there is the Kingdom of Dreams – India’s first live-action entertainment venue where you can spend hours roaming around and being amused by virtual experiences, street entertainers, and yummy food. Gurugram is also home to around 80 malls (and still counting) with innumerable fashion designer labels to shop from. If you like art, just make your way to the Museum of Folk and Tribal Art in Sector 4 and lose yourself in history.

Gurugram, like Delhi, has a lot to offer for your palate. If you are a foodie, gear up to go through a roller coaster of flavours. With all the malls and hotspots in the city, Gurugram is home to all the famous fast-food restaurants and the city is lined up with restaurants with multi-cuisine menus, all ready to tempt you. And then there are the famous gallis of Gurugram with mouth-watering street food ranging from chaat joints to the piping hot, sweet jalebis at Sardar Jalebi Wala. You might end up waiting in line for several minutes, but it’s all worth it.

Finding a home in Gurugram isn’t much of a hard task. Places like are DLF, Phase 3, Sector 24 Sushant Lok, Sector 43 & 57, Sohana Road are some of the places to look for your future home

Or you could always use one of the online platforms like 99acres, Magicbricks, NoBroker and Housing to rent a home. Once you’ve found a place, you can always rent furniture in Gurugram for your new home from Furlenco.

These were just a few things that we think you’ll love about this small, yet gorgeous, city. Have fun in your new city – discover secret nooks and corners, stumble upon your new favourites, and become a part of the Gurugram experience.
